Course details: Leading PSHE/PD in secondary schools (Introductory)

Most PSHE/PD leads have had little training for the role, and yet PD has gained greater significance in the curriculum. This introductory twilight is aimed at any secondary PSHE/ PD Lead who would like some time to reflect on their role and suggestions as how to develop provision in their setting. Topics included are:

• Building an effective evidence-based programme

• Student voice/advocacy

• Staff CPD- building your team

• Introduction to assessment

• Monitoring & evaluation

• Preparing for inspection

• Working with parents and guardians

• Developing partnerships in school to support your role

Attendance at the LIVE event is FREE of charge. If you are not a Chameleon partner school, but would like course materials provided via our online training platform, to be taken in your own time instead of attending the live event, this is available to purchase at £30 (including taxes and charges). We can only take payment by card. The course is accredited by CPD-UK, partner schools and purchasing customers will receive their CPD certificates.

Chameleon PDE partner schools will be given access to all training materials for use in their own school.

There are NO additional charges for partner schools as this is part of your annual subscription.
