Provide students with the facts about contraception

Ages 13-14 : Contraception

This pack covers everything you need to teach secondary school students about contraception. It is targeted at the 13-14 age group, but could be used for older year groups equally well. Sex education is compulsory in secondary education, so this pack is a vital resource for any teacher's PSHE resource bank. Teachers need to ensure PSHE lessons are current, accurate and informative and aligned with statutory requirements. One area where this is vitally important is contraception. This pack provides teachers with all the support necessary without the need for subject-specific training in this area.

This pack contains the following activities:
Take 10 Activity 1 - Contraception- what do you know? Video
Take 10 Activity 2 - Finding out about contraception
Take 10 Activity 3 - Contraception- myth or reality?
Take 20 Activity 1 - A brief history of contraception Video
