These materials help students understand why negative and positive language (and actions) can impact on self-esteem and mental health. Students are introduced to some simple neuroscience and the concept of negative automatic thoughts and how to manage them. There is also a focus on barriers to seeking help with a mental health issue. The 120 minutes of learning activity choices also come with a fully editable PowerPoint (with integrated video), and a home learning resource.
