Ages 14-16 Coping with Covid: New year, new challenges

This free activity plan and accompanying resources are aimed at supporting students who have had their exams cancelled and may be experiencing heightened anxiety at this time. The plan is divided into 7 different activities which can be delivered remotely or in class if you have vulnerable students or children of key workers in school / college. Activities concentrate on a range of strategies for managing disruption to learning with a focus on positive mental health. Some activities about Post-16 choices also aim to give students perspective that there is life after Covid! There is also a student advice sheet as part of the pack which you can make available to your cohort as part of this learning. The plan is accompanied by a fully editable PowerPoint, and there is sufficient material for several sessions if desired. There is also a sister pack aimed at students aged 16-18 and there is no reason why activities couldn't be adapted and vice versa, giving you even more choice. We hope you find these resources helpful at this challenging time.
