How do I teach my students about the limits of free speech?

Ages 14-16 : Freedom of expression

Free speech is a challenging but necessary area of the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum in schools. Students need to understand the laws in relation to freedom of expression, and there is a right to free speech but it has its limitations in certain circumstances. This activity pack looks at the moral and legal implications around free speech and also allows pupils to practise relevant communication skills.
