How do I help my Year 7 students gain more confidence in school?

Ages 11-12 : Confidence building for group work and class

Moving to secondary school can often cause a dip in confidence as students change from a relatively small environment to a much larger one. This pack, requested by teachers, aims to build pupil confidence around working in groups, and participation in class discussion. The activities can be taught as part of your PSHE scheme of work or included in any transition programme / summer school for new students. The pack contains a fully editable PowerPoint and comprehensive teacher notes. As with all activity packs in the Chameleon PDE library there are a range of activities that can fit within any timeslot you have available.
