Ages 11-12 : FGM (Female Genital Mutilation)

This pack introduces FGM to pupils in a sensitive and distanced manner. It provides facts about what FGM is, who it can happen to, and where to access help if worried. We recommend this pack for 11-12-year-olds if you have a cohort at risk of FGM. If this is not the case, you may wish to address this topic when students are older, as a human rights lesson. We have included several videos to ease facilitation. There are fewer options within this shorter lesson pack, however, there is still over an hour of content included.
